Malini Nijagal is an OB/GYN who provides care at ZSFG and UCSF. Her non-clinical work focuses on designing and implementing pregnancy care delivery models that are sustainable and considered high-value from the perspective of pregnant people. After completing a mid-career MPH in Healthcare Management, she joined the UCSF faculty in 2017 to focus on identifying system-level redesign opportunities to reduce pregnancy care inequities, and to partner with Medicaid-insured SF families to design solutions. Malini's expertise is in program design and implementation, healthcare financing, and partnering across sectors to achieve sustainable healthcare redesign.
