Gift Kiti
Gift Kiti, MPH is a public health specialist who currently serves as a Program Manager at the Institute of Global Health Sciences at UCSF. Her current project involves the launch of a digital health tool in Madagascar aimed at decreasing the high maternal mortality rations through improved post-partum hemorrhage management. Gift is also a Data Science Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley where she recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Public Health in May 2020. Her professional career spans leading organizations like Doctors without Borders in Cameroon, Clinton Health Access Initiative in Kenya and Swaziland as well as Jacaranda Maternity Hospital in Kiambu, Kenya. She is the founder of Zawadi Healthcare Services on the outskirts of Mombasa, Kenya. She is also the co-director of Taste Afrique Company Limited (Chibundiro) a natural spice company in Kenya. Gift is especially interested in the role of data in advancing access and equity in healthcare especially using R language. Gift enjoys dancing, music/singing, and meeting new people.
