Caregiver Experience of Pediatric Disability in Urban Zimbabwe: A Qualitative Evaluation

This qualitative study aims to better understand caregivers’ experiences when raising a child with developmental disability. It explores cultural beliefs, systems issues and personal needs that may be impacting successful caregiving for young children with disabilities, as well as resilience factors that could improve longer-term outcomes. The goal of this study is to identify factors that can be used to develop interventions and educational programs tailored to the Zimbabwean context.
