Leah Kirumbi is an obstetrician-gynecologist and principal research officer at the Centre for Clinical Research at KEMRI. Some of the intervention research she has conducted includes maternal, perinatal and neonatal morbidity and mortality, HIV transmission and prevention among youth during circumcision seasons and early diagnosis and treatment of pre-cancerous lesions of cervical cancer. She serves as a co-investigator for the Preterm Birth Initiative.
